Unoffcial world art record

Here is me and my chalk artist team's C.H.A.W.K (Christchurch Artists Without Kanvas) crack at the World pavement art record we did in 2000 for a childrens event called Kidsfest.
We were aiming for 1,700 sq metres but the picture ended up being:

2,584 sq metres

We planned and started at 7.00am and then 2,500 kids came between 10.00am and 3.00pm to color in the blanks

The artwork is to big for it all to fit in the picture. My job was to do the layout for the dog and alot of the lettering. Big ups to my wondeful art crew Jeremy Herbert, Hanna Hemara, Dicksie McGregor, Jase, my sister Nikki, Jase, Ollie, Whineta, Anna and the thousands of kids.

We took the photo from the top of the tallest nearby building but could'nt fit it in. I'll put a copy of the newspaper article in my scraps for anyone thats interested.
